Deacon Richard Eason will be speaking and conducting a book signing for his new book 'Tackling the Issues in America through the Eyes of Jesus' at St. Charles United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 6:30-7:30pm. Deacon Eason, who has been seen on EWTN 'The World Over' with Raymond Arroyo, is also the author of Spiritual Excellence and Spiritual Lightning. This event is free and open to the public. LOCATION: 1905 Ormond Blvd, Destrehan, LA (Sanctuary).

We have all fallen short, failed and made our share of mistakes. Yet as Christians, we are not defined by our past. We are defined by God to faithfully strive to live Christ-like with these 12 Good Stewardship Habits to grow spiritually, physically and emotionally.
- We faithfully strive to pray and read Scripture more often to deepen our relationship with God.
- We faithfully strive to act with integrity, truth, trust, loyalty and respect as responsible and accountable stewards.
- We faithfully strive to listen with empathy and create effective dialogues.
- We faithfully strive to treat others the way we want to be treated.
- We faithfully strive to give joyfully and unconditionally of our time, talent and treasures without expecting anything in return.
- We faithfully strive to serve others without serving our own selfish agenda.
- We faithfully strive to find common ground to make what makes us different make a difference.
- We faithfully strive to live a healthy lifestyle filled with compassion, joy and love while rebuking prejudice, racism and hatred.
